Greetings on this glorious Lord's Day! The past few days have been filled with much joy being able to see familiar faces and reflecting on where the Lord has so graciously and mercifully protected me, leading me up to this chapter in this journey. Still a little extra weak from a bout of aspiration pneumonia been taking activities in great moderation. However looking forward to rebounding enough to get back on a modified weekly schedule, keeping my focus on "fighting the good fight" and living each day for Him.
Unable to worship corporately due to low antihistamines and low ANC was a disappointment, but know it is all part of his perfect plan. Below is a poem by Watts that I thought I would share with you as it reminded me today that we should spend the entire day with him.
" God of the morning, at whose voice
The cheerful sun makes haste to rise,
And like a giant doth rejoice
To run his journey through the skies;
Oh, like the sun may I fulfill
Th' appointed duties of the day;
With ready mind and active will
March on, and keep my heavenly way.
Give me thy counsel for my guide,
And then receive me to thy bliss;
All my desires and hopes beside
Are faint and cold, compared with this."
Thank you for all your encouraging words and fervent prayers. May our gracious Lord and King richly bless you today!
