Today was a bit rough

But not especially tough

A little extra pain

But from Hildebrandt's plumbing I couldn't refrain

Putting on new threads, 

taking new meds,

Visiting,cooking with a friend and sleeping

Are all the blessings  of today that I've been reaping

God is continually giving me the peace and strength

To go the extra length

During this blessed stay

However please still pray

For continued rest

and that we will get good results from Monday's test

Praises we sing are for the extra air
and His unending grace that is not rare

It is time 
To end this rhyme
