To all of you who requested the hair picture. . . here it is!
With one week of treatment down and the second one begun I am starting to feel the affects of it all. The body blisters, unhappy tummy, loss of hair, chemo brain are all back, but with the strength of the Lord I am still pressing on.
This past week I have been really concentrating doing my duty of waiting on God , so I thought I would share this poem with you I found in a Mathew Henry book.
The way, not mine, O Lord
However dark it be!
Lead me by thine own faithful hand,
Choose out the path for me.
Smooth let it be or rough,
it will be still the best,
Winding or straight, it matters not,
It leads me to thy rest.
I dare not choose my lot;
I would not if I might;
Choose thou for me , my gracious God,
So shall I walk aright.
The kingdom that I seek
Is thine: so let the way
That leads to it be truly thine
Else I must surely stray. ------Bonar
